Support CIPPIC
Donate to CIPPIC
CIPPIC relies upon funding from grants, contracts, and donations in order to operate. While part of the University of Ottawa, we are only partially funded by the University. Our continued operations are therefore dependent upon outside sources of funding.
All donations are welcome, and are eligible for a tax-creditable receipt from the University. Make cheques out to "University of Ottawa - CIPPIC", or donate online. Be sure to designate CIPPIC on the online form.
U.S. residents can make tax-deductible donations to CIPPIC by donating via an American charity, "U.S. Friends of the University of Ottawa", established for this purpose.
Feel free to contact us for more information about donating to CIPPIC.
CIPPIC Supporters
If you like what we are doing, sign up as a CIPPIC Supporter! You can:

Send an email to cippic@uottawa.ca with "Subscribe to Newsletter list" in the subject line, and your name, location and affiliation (if any) in the message.
- Sign up as a CIPPIC supporter, even if you don't want to subscribe to any of our other lists. We'll let you know when we start offering other services to our supporters, or when there is important news about CIPPIC that we think you'd like to know. Sign up as a general CIPPIC supporter by sending an email to cippic@uottawa.ca, with "CIPPIC Supporter" in the subject line, and your name, contact info and affiliation (if any) in the message.
NB: We will not share your name, address or other information with anyone else, and we will use it only for the purpose stated. You can unsubscribe to any of our lists by sending an email message to cippic@uottawa.ca requesting so. See our Privacy Policy.
Pro Bono Assistance
CIPPIC benefits from pro bono services offered by a number of lawyers and law firms including Deeth Williams Wall LLP, Bates Barristers LLP, and Gary Bouchard, Barrister & Solicitor.
The Clinic welcomes private sector lawyers and firms interested in working with clinic students on cases involving technology and the public interest. Please contact the Clinic Director if you have a case in which CIPPIC students could assist, or if you would consider taking on pro bono public interest cases, with CIPPIC support.
CIPPIC Cooperating Lawyers List
The Clinic maintains a list of "cooperating lawyers" who practice in the technology law field and who are interested in receiving referrals from CIPPIC and possibly working with CIPPIC if the appropriate case presents itself. If you are interested in being added to CIPPIC's "Cooperating Lawyers" list, please send a message to cippic@uottawa.ca with "Cooperating Lawyers" in the subject line. Please provide a link to your firm's website and indicate your areas of practice, year of call, and any other relevant information.
