
CIPPIC has submitted [a letter](http://www.cippic.ca/uploads/copyright-law-reform/CIPPIC_LT_Copyright%20_Consultations-13Sept2009.pdf "CIPPIC Copyright Consultation Submission") to the copyright consultations.  CIPPIC's submission cautions policy makers to avoid undermining copyright's policy objectives in revising the law, and warns of the dangers of excessive control over copyrights.
