In the wake of widespread outrage about the throttling of P2P traffic [1] by large ISPs, and now CAIP's challenge to Bell Canada's throttling of its members' traffic, the Canadian movement to protect Network Neutrality has gained new energy. A new website, www.SaveOurNet.ca [2], has been launched to provide information and to mobilize a public campaign on the issue. Supporters of Net Neutrality are gathering on Parliament Hill [3] on May 27th, from 11:30am to 1:30pm, to call for legislative or regulatory measures to stop large ISPs from interfering with internet traffic.
